Capital Accelerator Program (CAP) Description
The CAP is designed for those technical founders and inventors who have a strong technical background and is in need of a stronger business team to take their prototype / product to market, followed by an angel or series A VC round of fundraising. ePowerhouse will identify those high potential and high impact technology based startups and collaboratively take those startups to the next round of funding. We will tap into our resources and connections to help our portfolio companies gain the first customers and then funding as part of the team.
ePowerhouse also has strong connections to Chinese government / incubators / funding opportunities / investors, and we may find some of our portfolio companies fit for our ePowerBridge service for expansion to emerging markets.

Startup Eligibility Requirements:
Startups from all industries are welcome to apply, however:
- The startup must have completed at least a prototype / beta or a final product
- The startup is actively searching for startup capital (Seed / Angel funding / Series A)
- The startup must had some previous tractions in the past 3-6 months

You can apply for CAP at any time, we will review your executive summary and we will follow up with you. Simply click on the Apply for the CAP button on the left column.
FAQ:
Is it free to apply?
The program is free to apply; however, we are treating ourselves as an investor who will invest our time / resources / connections into your company. We will hold your hands to walk through the tough times together. We can be part of your management team if needed or just an advisor, and we love to share the risks and equity with you for the long run. We will profit share with you after we helped you close the first major customer, and of course we will bring in the appropriate strategic investors to the team.
Who can apply?
We encourage all innovative startups to apply with a focus that solves a major pain points in the society. If you are having trouble taking your prototype / product to market or acquiring your first early adopter, yet you possess a great technology, you have to contact us!
Is CAP only Boston based?
At this stage, we encourage innovation based startups from anywhere to apply. However, we do need to be able to verify your prototype / product and market analysis before we help you, and we are based in Boston.
If I am already participating other accelerator programs, why should I participate in CAP?
We are very different from other accelerator programs; most other programs are self-serve, but we are more like an investor and partner who will have our skin in the game with you.
Do we fund you?
We are in the process of building a fund ourselves, and in the future, we will be able to fund some portfolios directly given that we have the connections to take your product to market.
What’s unique about CAP?
The most unique part of CAP is that after we engage with you and have successfully helped you locally in US, we will likely engage in a follow-up service that will take your technology to other emerging markets, helping you grow internationally.
