Q: How are you different from LinkedIn?

A: Our platform is dedicated to helping entrepreneurs succeed. All of our features are specifically designed to make entrepreneurship easier and boost startup development. For example, let's say that you are trying to find a business partner, LinkedIn searches will return thousands of results, but which one will you pick? Our platform allows filter options by expertise, entrepreneurial interests, and availability. Furthermore, our tagging system for skill sets will expedite the process of finding the right people to meet your business needs.

Q: What is the difference between Platinum members, Gold members, Silver members, and basic members?

A: The platinum members will have unlimited access to our site for free year round. Gold and Silver members will be rewarded with free credits each month. Basic members will have zero credits, and members will either need to buy credits or receive credits by helping e-powerhouse in return such as inviting friends to the site. This credit system will only be implemented starting in our beta version.

Q: What is the crowd innovation feature and how does this feature spark innovation?

A: The crowd innovation feature asks people to pose problem they see or face that presents a need for innovation. This feature thus offers a threefold value:

1. It drives entrepreneurs to resolve the top problems voted on by community. In turn, a database of problems from the community immediately becomes a database of potential business ideas for entrepreneurs.

2. It helps innovative startups pick up customers by drawing more attention to their solutions for popular problems. (Please refer to the question regarding drawing new customers below.)

3. If a private network of discussions is created, this feature can be very useful for gathering feedback, Q&A, debugging processes, and improving internal organizational communication in formats such as executive meetings.

Q: How can I create a startup job post?

A: Startups can only post jobs to the job board once they have created a startup profile on our startups database. You can create a startup profile under the 'Manage Startup' tab on your user profile page.

Q: How can my startup be featured on ePowerhouse's homepage?

A: The ePowerhouse team will vote on which innovative startup in our database will be featured on the homepage.

Q: How can my startup be featured on every user's profile page?

A: Every week, the community's votes will put your startup in the spotlight. Each supporter for your startup earns you 1 point, while each follower earns you 2 points. The three startups with the most points from the current week will be featured on every user's profile.
